The date has been set for the latest edition of Women’s Roll Call open mats! This time we are visiting Garage Jiu Jitsu in Bondi Junction on Sunday, April 13th, from 11am-1pm. These open mats are a community project involving female leaders in the local Sydney and NSW Brazilian Jiu Jitsu community, of which the Gracie Sydney Women’s Team is a member. Participants come together to train, strengthen, and deepen our connection to the art of Jiu Jitsu and each other. These events are open to all women and girls regardless of age, affiliation, or experience. There is no fee to attend. Bring yourselves and be ready to meet other women in the community and enjoy some time together!
Open Mat structure is as follows: There will be a light warm up, hosting female instructors will show a few techniques, and then open mat for drilling, rolling, or asking questions begins! Light refreshments will be provided afterwards.
