The NSW Women’s BJJ Network is having their end of year event, a Women’s Self Defense class and BJJ Open Mat to benefit the White Ribbon Campaign. The White Ribbon Campaign is an Australian effort to end the violence against women. Towards this end, the NSW Women’s BJJ Network- a community based for women by women group of BJJ practitioners- is leading this event that is open to the public. Any female interested in self defense and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is warmly invited to come and try it out! All affiliations, ages, and experience levels welcome. The goal for this event is to have participants gain some confidence with an introduction to effective self defense techniques as well as enjoy some Jiu Jitsu rolling together.
