As a great warm-up for the upcoming events for the Jiu Jitsu community, Gracie Humaita Sydney Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) Academy had today an internal competition which brought a lot of family and friends to the Academy.
Having all of the participants having at least 2 fights, the competition was great fun and all the kids absorbed as much as they could from the day.
It was a “during class” competition, with a few of our senior students helping out with refereeing and scoring of the matches.
Everyone was a winner for the competition, with lots learned and the “pressure’ from the audience stopping to be a problem for the competitors, we believe that the kids are ready for the upcoming tournament.
We would like to thank everyone that helped us this afternoon and a special thank you for all the parents that came and made this another great event.
