Exciting News for our Gracie Kids! As of 12th October Gracie Sydney will be offering Kids Classes x6 a week. Consistency is key and we want you to see your Jiu-Jitsu go to that next level. Please contact reception to discuss our Unlimited Kids Memberships! From Monday to Friday at 4.30 pm and on Saturdays at 9 am.

This is true in all aspects of our lives but especially so in Jiu-Jitsu. Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art that is best learned through drills & repetition, particularly if you are new to the art. Through repetition, your body will be able to commit the techniques that you have learned to muscle memory and they will start to come naturally during sparring.
Repetition plays such an important role in learning and progression in Jiu-Jitsu. Depending on what your goals are, we recommend that kids attend training 3-5 days per week. If you are able to commit to this you will see steady progression, you will become sharper in your movements and during sparring, you will find yourself seeing opportunities to apply the techniques. There is no secret to Jiu-Jitsu, if you want to progress you need to put time in on the mats!!
