Gracie Sydney is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy that has the mission to raise the physical confidence and overall wellness of BJJ students. The receptionist is an important role within the team, who will be the first point of contact for visitors at the Academy, high energy, sporty active, calm, and self-confident. You are someone with good communication skills and empathy.

Key responsibilities:

_Welcome and greet members and prospects upon their entry.

_Help members to check-in.

_Book the Free Trial classes (email and phone) and welcome the prospects once they arrive at the Academy.

_Answer emails and phone calls.

_Membership sales: close the deals with prospects after the trial classes.

_Sales: manage stock and operate the sales on the online and physical store.

_Membership management: activate, suspend, and cancel memberships.

_Operate the vending machine.

_Coordinate special events, such as Gradings and X-Mas Party.


Working Hours:

Mon to Fri: 3.30pm to 8.30pm.

Sab: 8.30am to 12.00pm.


About you:

You have experience in customer service, marketing, sales, reception, and a desire to learn from and cooperate with your team members.

_Highly organized;

_Team player;

_Self-confident (not arrogant).



_Fluent in English;

_Great communication skills (writing and oral – calls and emails);

_Excels at interacting with people;

_Customer service experience;

_Good sales skills (speech and negotiation skills);

_Office management;

_Microsoft Office package (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
