The health and wellbeing of the members and our team is our highest priority.
So we write today regarding the outbreak of Novel Coronavirus that has been unfolding in recent days.
Understanding of the virus and its spread is still in its early stages, nonetheless, we are taking a prudent approach.
We ask that any member who has traveled to Wuhan or the surrounding Hubei Province in China or has had direct contact with an infected person does not return to the Academy for 14 days from the date of arrival back in Australia.
If this applies to you, please contact your nearest Hospital or the Communicable Disease Control Branch on 1300 232 272. There will be a dedicated doctor to assess you free of charge.
As per our Illness Policy
- If a member shows signs or symptoms of any serious illness of infectious disease (including but not limited to fever, cough, sore throat and other flu-like symptoms) they should not attend classes.
If you have any concerns regarding your health please feel seek medical advice.
