A shining example of this legacy is Helio Gracie, whose dedication to Jiu-Jitsu not only changed the martial arts world but also left a lasting impact on his family. His children, including our master Royler Gracie, have continued to pass down the values and skills that Helio instilled in them, creating a lineage of excellence and deep connection to the art of Jiu-Jitsu.
At Gracie Sydney, we see this legacy carried on every day. Coach Diego is already introducing his little boy, Lenny, who is just 2 years old, to the mats, nurturing a love for Jiu-Jitsu from a young age. Similarly, our Coach Bruno has made Jiu-Jitsu a family affair by teaching his two daughters, ensuring that they not only learn the techniques but also the values and principles that Jiu-Jitsu embodies.
