Our Gracie Kids Program consists of three different sections of classes tailored to each age group’s physical education and developmental abilities:
Gracie Tots– Ages 3-5, Focuses on Motor and Social Skills through basic movements, coordination drills, and fun skill oriented games.
Gracie Kids– Ages 5-9, Focuses on Fundamentals of Gracie Jiu Jitsu, self-defence, and skill development through fun games, techniques, and sparring.
Gracie Tweens– Ages 10-13, Continues to focus on Gracie Jiu Jitsu and self-defence with more advanced skills taught through games, drilling, techniques, and sparring.
Gracie Teens– Ages 13-16, This class is designed to bridge teens into our Adult BJJ Programs smoothly by giving them all the skill and knowledge to succeed in their Jiu Jitsu practice.
Kids Comp Class– An invitation only advanced class open to Kids, Tweens, and Teens who are serious, consistent, and truly interested in growing their Jiu Jitsu to represent the school in National and International Competitions.
Kids classes develop all aspects of training for Kids in Martial Arts; both physical and mental, including:
- Discipline
- Courtesy
- Self-Control
- Self-Confidence
- Communication
- Concentration
- Teamwork
