Australian Girls in Gi had an amazing volunteer seminar to raise the awareness of self defence and safety for women, at the headquarters of the Gracie Humaita Sydney Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) Academy.
With great effort and engagement to the cause, Jess Frazer, Kirsty, Alex, Lucy and Livia taught a group of ladies that wanted to be educated and feel confident to use the techniques if needed, they were extremely prepared entering the gym and left with a lot of knowledge.
More than 40 women attended the seminar, including one of our instructors and a few of our students.
The seminar was a great success and more the $500 were raised towards the White Ribbon Cause.
